Skype, the popular online video conferencing platform, is turning into an online bazaar of learning— classes can be found from guitar lessons, to pilates, to Thai cooking.  U Rock, teaches music through Skype. Emily Glazer at the Wall Street Journal reports:

U Rock started offering lessons by Skype in August and says five of its 60 students are currently studying that way. Some instruments are more suited to Skype than others. With guitar, teacher and student sit face to face—ideal for using a webcam. Piano lessons are more cumbersome. Teacher and student usually sit side by side at the same keyboard, requiring the webcam to be repositioned for face-to-face conversation.
