In case you have not had enough from Salman Khan, here’s an interview from Web Summit 2.0 in San Francisco. For those of you who already know what Khan Academy is, skip to 2:20 where it gets more interesting.

“What we are is much more than a video library…how do we supercharge what is going on in the classroom,” asks Khan. He talks about getting into multiplayer games. We liked Khan before, and now he’s dropping gamification into the mix. Stay tuned for games.

Most intriguing is what happens when classrooms are flipped. Khan talks about letting students learn at their own pace and redefining what happens in classrooms. He says they are working with roughly 80 classrooms in California.

Khan said, “Crazy things start happening.” Sounds like in this case, crazy is good.

Cliff notes guide:

3:09 Adding different ways for students to interact— with one another

4:54 Discovering new things…

6:30 What can’t be taught with Khan Academy?

8:30 What’s next as access increases to technology?
